Online Chess Lessons

I was born in Azerbaijan which was once part of the Soviet Union which had a strong chess culture. Azerbaijan has been stronger in chess since the last 40 years. Garry Kasparov was also born in Baku, Azerbaijan SSR (now Azerbaijan).
I have been working as an English teacher, a secondary school principal, now as a Trade School director but I love playing chess and also never tired of teaching chess.
My successful 4 year 8 month old student got class B certificate just in 4 month.

Individual and group lessons are available in Azerbaijani and English for beginners and intermediate players. In these lessons, you will:

Develop advanced playing skills,

Increase your rating,

Learn essential tactics and strategies.

I currently teach chess mainly to students living in Canada, Germany, and other foreign countries. This also gives you an opportunity to meet and connect with peers speaking foreign languages. Additionally, you can learn and practice the Azerbaijani language with me.

✔ Lessons are conducted via Zoom and other platforms
✔ 1 hour per day (duration depends on the student's level)
✔ Tailored individual programs for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels
✔ Group lessons are available at more affordable rates

Curriculum
LEVEL I
The board and pieces, Piece movement, Attacking and capturing, The pawn, Defense, Check and escaping check, Checkmate in one, Castling, Profitable exchanges, Double attack, Draw, Checkmate with a queen, En passant, Notation.
Practice: Winning material, Defense, Checkmate, Route planning, Defending against checkmate, Draw, Planning a checkmate, Passed pawn.

LEVEL II
Activity and weakness, Double attack (queen and knight), The pin, Removing the defender, Golden rules, Checkmate in two, Target square, Checkmate with a rook, Discovered attack, Defending against checkmate, Short notation.
Practice: Checkmate, Opening blunders, Defense, Route planner, Planning a checkmate, Stalemate, Winning material, Tournament rules.

LEVEL III
Completing the opening, Discovered and double check, Attacking a pinned piece, Checkmate, Pawn endgames, Removing the defender, Defending against tactics, Mini-plans, Draw, X-ray attack, Pinned pieces, Activity, Key squares, Threats.
Practice: Zwischenzug (intermediate move), Pin, Route planner, Removing the defender, Pawn endgames, Defending against checkmate, Discovered attack, Chess puzzles, etc.

BONUS:
Chess GUI software, chess engines, creating PGN files and database files, preparation against opponents' openings, etc.
